Having a drink cost me my family – Tommy Fury

My name is Tommy Fury and I am here to share my story with you all. I used to be a happy man with a loving family, but everything changed when alcohol took over my life. It all started with a harmless drink here and there, but soon it became a daily habit.

My addiction to alcohol led to me neglecting my family and responsibilities. I would come home late, sometimes not at all, and my wife and kids would be worried sick. I would promise to change, but I never did.

One day, my wife had enough and decided to leave me. She took the kids with her and I was left alone, with nothing but a bottle in my hand. It was then that I realized the true cost of my addiction – my family.

I hit rock bottom and sought help. With the support of rehab and therapy, I was able to overcome my addiction and slowly rebuild the trust with my family. It was a long and difficult journey, but I am grateful to have my family back in my life.

Alcohol may have cost me my family, but it also taught me a valuable lesson – that nothing is more important than the love and support of those closest to you. I am now committed to staying sober and cherishing every moment I have with my family.
